HL-1240 HEAT ROLLER

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must switch your Brother HL-1240 Laser Printer off, and then unplug the power cord. After that, you must remove the gear from the fuser assembly unit by pressing the two hooks inwards, and then disconnect the heater harness connectors. Now, you must remove the three screws that secure the fuser assembly unit to the main printer frame. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unplug the thermistor connector from the engine power circuit board, and then remove the fuser assembly unit from the Brother HL-1240 Laser Printer. After that, you must detach the star wheel holder from the fuser assembly unit by removing its fixing screw, and then remove the taptite screws from the top side of the frame of the fuser assembly unit. Once you have removed the screws, you must release the harness of the thermistor, and then remove the fuser cover by releasing the left and right hooks. Next, you must remove the fixing screw from the connector plate of the halogen lamp. After that, you must detach the right end of the exhausted heat roller from the fuser assembly unit, remove the halogen heater lamp, and then take the exhausted roller out of the fuser assembly unit. Finally, you must unpack the new heat roller, and then install it by executing the current procedure in reverse order.
