When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Brother HL-2700CN Laser Printer?

Your Brother HL-2700CN Laser Printer is equipped with a built-in system, which is constantly monitoring the status of all four toner cartridges. Once the toner level in any/several of the installed toner cartridges becomes too low, you will see one/several of the listed below warning messages:

• ‘’READY ‘’K’’ (BLACK)’’
• ‘’READY ‘’C’’ (CYAN)’’
• ‘’READY ‘’M’’ (MAGENTA)’’
• ‘’READY ‘’Y’’ (YELLOW)’’

You should replace the exhausted toner cartridge/cartridges, soon after the initial appearance of any of the above messages. Otherwise, the remaining toner in the nearly empty toner cartridge will be consumed very soon, which will lead to the disabling of all printing operations. The non-operational printer`s mode will be indicated with one/several of the listed below error messages:

• ‘’TONER EMPTY ‘’C’’ (Cyan). Replace the ‘’C’’ toner cartridge’’

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Brother HL-2700CN Laser Printer

The toner cartridge replacement is one of the easiest procedures, which won`t take you more than 10 minutes for complete execution. Initially, you must open the front cover of your Brother HL-2700CN Laser Printer and locate the exhausted toner cartridge. Then, you must pull the exhausted toner cartridge out of the printer`s slot by pulling it in direction straight towards you, but avoid shaking or tilting the cartridge too much.
