BROTHER HL-3150CDW MAGENTA TONER CARTRIDGE

Your Brother HL-3150CDW is equipped with four toner cartridges. You can check the status of the installed toner cartridges from the Parts Life menu. One of the listed indications will appear if any of the installed toner cartridges needs replacing.

 

·         Orange circle with a black exclamation mark in it is displayed

 

·         Red circle with a white letter X is displayed

 

·         The message [Replace Toner] is displayed

 

·         The message [Toner Low X] is displayed

 

·         The message [Cartridge Error] is displayed

 

·         The message [No Toner] is displayed

 

·         The message [Toner Error] is displayed

 

·         Vertical streaks or bands appear

 

·         Blank printouts

 

·         One or more colors are missing

 

·         Repetitive image defects appear at intervals of 0.9449 in

 

·         Toner scatter

 

·         Toner stains

 

·         Uneven image density

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must turn the Brother HL-3150CDW on, and then open the top cover. After that, you must locate the drum unit with the exhausted toner cartridge, and then remove it from the main compartment. Once the assembly is removed, you must unlock the exhausted toner cartridge from the drum unit by pressing the green lever, and then remove the exhausted component. Now, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it several times from side to side to loosen the toner. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the protective plastic cover from the new toner cartridge, and then position the new component over the guides on the top side of the drum unit. After that, you must press the new toner cartridge down until it locks into place, and then slide the green corona cleaning tab several times along the cleaning channel. Next, you must return the green tab to its original position, and then insert the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into the main unit. Finally, you must close the top cover of your Brother HL-3150CDW.
