Pros:

The main advantage of using the MFC-7225N is the ability to print at a very fast speed. It can produce up to 20 pages every single minute, which is a lot when you are working in a small office with a small amount of people. To support this fast speed, it comes with a 250 sheet paper holder as well as a time saving 20 sheet automatic document feeder. Printing is in black and white, and can produce some very good quality. In fact, it can print at 2400 x 600 dpi which is very good quality, especially for a small business looking to print off documents.

It can scan in 256 different shades of grey making it well suited for scanning simple images without a lot of detail. It can also scan at a resolution of up to 1200 dpi. This is pretty impressive considering the size of the system.

What’s most impressive is the size of the machine. It's very small yet packs a lot of different functions. This makes it perfect for the small business with limited space available as it can easily be placed on a desk. It would also work perfectly in a small home office. It has a LCD screen that can display up to 16 characters at a time (this is backlit) and 32 mb of memory.

The machine will generally come with a 12 months warranty, as well as there lifetime technical support, which is very helpful if the machine breaks down on you or you need help with a certain function.

Cons:

Since the machine is so small and compact it does have some downfalls. Obviously it is not best suited to a company that is large or that only relies on a printer, or all in one system in order to complete their work. The paper drawer only holds 250 sheets of paper.
