CANON IMAGERUNNER 1025 TONER CARTRIDGE

Canon imageRUNNER 1025 is a digital monochrome printer, which is based on the Laser Dry Electrostatic imaging system. The toner cartridge installed into the Canon imageRUNNER 1025 Printer has a useful life of approx. 8400 prints at 6% average page coverage. Please note that you can extend the useful life of the installed toner cartridge by using the ‘’TONER SAVER’’ mode. This toner saving mode can be selected from the ‘’Settings’’ menu.
The Canon imageRUNNER 1025 Printer displays error and status messages on the front panel LCD, when your attention is required. You can find all status and error messages, which are indicating a toner cartridge related problem/abnormality, below.

‘’OUT OF TONER CHANGE TONER’’ – Under normal conditions, this message will be displayed when the installed toner cartridge is at the end of its useful life. Please be aware that the same error message will be displayed, if you have installed the toner cartridge incorrectly. For that reason, the toner cartridge must be replaced, if it is installed correctly, but the error message is still displayed.

‘’RECEIVED IN MEMORY’’ – A new fax has been stored into the internal memory because the Canon imageRUNNER 1025 Printer is out of toner or paper. You should load paper into the input tray and try to print the received fax. If printing is still not possible after paper is loaded, you must install a new toner cartridge.

‘’TONER LOW PREPARE NEW TONER’’ – Your Canon imageRUNNER 1025 Printer has detected a low toner level. You should install a new toner cartridge soon to avoid print-quality issues.

It is recommended to keep a new toner cartridge for your Canon imageRUNNER 1025 Printer in stock, but please store this consumable component in its original packaging at temperatures below 86degreesF/30degreesC, and relative humidity of 80% or less. Please follow the detailed instructions given below to install a new toner cartridge in your monochrome laser printer.

Please note that the installation of a new toner cartridge is a relatively simple procedure, which does not require any special technical skills or tools. The replacement procedure can be completely executed in less than 10 minutes. Please note that you should clean the fuser roller each time the toner cartridge is replaced (the cleaning procedure is also included).

You must start the replacement procedure by opening the front cover of your Canon imageRUNNER 1025 Printer. Then, you must grasp the handle of the used toner cartridge, and turn it clockwise until it stops. Now, you must remove the unlocked toner cartridge from the laser printer by pulling it straight towards you, and then remove the new toner cartridge from the protective plastic case. Please avoid shaking the used toner cartridge, and do not touch the contact area of the new toner cartridge. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new toner cartridge into the laser printer, but please make sure that the guiding arrow (stamped on the new cartridge) is pointing towards the slot. Then, you must hold the new toner cartridge into place with your right hand, and remove the protective seal from the cartridge with your other hand. After that, you must turn the handle of the new toner cartridge counterclockwise until it stops, and then push the handle towards the main unit. In the concluding step, you must close the front cover of your Canon imageRUNNER 1025 Printer, and then clean the fuser roller (the cleaning procedure is included below).

Cleaning the Fuser Roller
1. You must press the [Additional Functions] button.
2. Use the [>] to select ‘’Adjust./CLEANING’’.
3. Press the [OK] button, and then open the stack bypass.
4. Fully open the bypass extension by pulling it towards you, and then load letter-size paper.
5. Select ‘’FIX.UNIT CLEANING’’, and then start the cleaning procedure by pressing the [OK] button.
