The Canon Selphy CP400 was designed for printing photos. It does an excellent job of printing 4X6 inch photos. This printer is easy to use and can print straight from PictBridge cameras or from computers. Its output is smudge- and waterproof free thanks to thermal-dye technology. The CP400 can be used to print business cards as well as on 4X8 inch paper.
The best part is that it doesn’t cost a lot and won’t take up a lot of space. It weighs only 1 pound and 13 ounces and is easy to take with you wherever you go.

Pros:

Output quality for the Canon Selphy CP400 is good. Photos printed with it are excellent and show few flaws. It does a good job at handled midtones. Detail is excellent when using this printer to produce photos.
Printing costs are average for a thermal-dye printer. It will cost you 56 cents to print a 4X6 photo. However you would be able to print photos for less at a local retail store. However printing photos at home offers convenience and you can use Photoshop to improve them before printing.

Cons:

The Canon Selphy CP400 is slow which is a problem if you want to print photos on the spot to show friends and family.
