COPYSTAR CS-1620 TONER CARTRIDGE

You must replace the toner cartridge installed in your Copystar CS-1620 Laser Printer, when any of the listed and described below error codes is displayed on the control LCD.

• ‘’E32’’ – This error code normally indicates that the toner cartridge is not installed/missing. However, the same error code will be displayed, if the cartridge is faulty, damaged, unsupported, or incorrectly installed. Therefore, you should reinstall the toner cartridge, and install a new one, if the error code is still displayed afterwards.

• The [Replenish Toner] indicator is blinking – This is an indication of a low toner level. You should install a new toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of this signal. Otherwise, the installed toner cartridge will be completely exhausted, and then all print operations will be disabled.

• The [Replenish Toner] indicator is blinking and the following error code ‘’E33’’ is displayed on the LCD – The toner cartridge has been completely exhausted. You won’t be able to copy/print new documents, until a new toner cartridge is installed.

In the initial step of the toner cartridge replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your Copystar CS-1620 Laser Printer. After that, you must unlock the waste toner container by pushing it to the left side of the compartment, and then remove the old container from the main unit. Please use the included cap to seal the old waste toner container. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by turning its lock release lever to the left, and then remove the exhausted consumable component from the printer. Please perform the cleaning procedure, which is included below.
Cleaning Procedure
1. Grab the cleaning rod, which is located above the slot of the waste toner container.
2. Slide the cleaning rod along the channel 5-6 times, and then push it back to its original position.
3. Unpack the grid cleaner and remove its cap.
4. Attach the grid cleaner to the machine. Please note that the grid cleaner must be inserted in the slot, which is located below the cleaning rod.
5. Grab the electrical charge section, which is located next to the attached grid cleaner.
6. Slide the electrical charge section along the cleaning channel several times, and then push it back to its original position.
7. Remove the grid cleaner.
8. Please proceed with the next step of the toner cartridge replacement procedure.
Now, you must prepare the new toner cartridge for installation by shaking it at least 15 times horizontally, and then insert the prepared new consumable component into the printer. Once the new toner cartridge is completely inserted, you must lock it into place by turning its lock release lever to the right, and then install the new waste toner container. Finally, you must close the front cover, and then test your Copystar CS-1620 Laser Printer.
