Product Description
Panasonic FP-7722 Toner Cartridge - 10,000 Pages

This Toner Cartridge prints 10000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Panasonic specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Panasonic.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the PANASONIC FP-7722 Laser Monochrome Copier?
The PANASONIC FP-7722 Laser Monochrome Copier is equipped with a built-in system for a toner cartridge monitoring. Once the monitoring system detects an abnormality in the toner cartridge status, it will notify you with a series of warning signals. The error code ‘’U13’’ will be displayed in the copy count display, when the installed toner cartridge is running out of toner. In addition to the above warning message, you will also notice that the error indicator is blinking. When the above ‘’low toner’’ warnings appears, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge and install a new one. Otherwise, the remaining toner will be consumed very soon, which will lead to the disabling of all copy/print operations. Herein, you should always keep a spare toner cartridge in stock for your PANASONIC FP-7722 Laser Monochrome Copier.
How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the PANASONIC FP-7722 Laser Monochrome Copier
The toner cartridge replacement of your PANASONIC FP-7722 Laser Monochrome Copier is a very simple procedure, which requires no more than 10 minutes for complete execution. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must slide the new toner cartridge into the toner hopper and secure it into place by turning it right/clockwise, until the mark on the toner cartridge aligns with the mark of the toner hopper. Panasonic FP-7722 Review

Overview:

Imparting unprecedented performance and high quality reproduction, FP-7722 comes excellent in its batch being integrated by Panasonic’s Quantum Technology. Apart from the functionality as a monochrome copier, it presents user-friendly interface to maximize the benefit and accelerate office productivity. Although an old model being released in the mid of 1996, FP-7722 still has the features deemed critical for offices of digital copy needs. The compact design is perfect for smaller work areas and is made to complement PCs of the yesteryears with it revamped in cream color. The overall structure is coupled by several simple yet smart looking lines that just enhanced its individuality. The main body stands in its rectangular box resemblance of considerable dimensions which increases with the addition of the optional bin sorter and paper feeder.

Pros:

Digital copy needs are handled exceptionally with the decent copy speed at 22 CPM (copies per minute) for letter sizes. First copy out time still stands out at only about 4 seconds and no doubt that it can still win a race against today’s newer copiers in terms of first copy speed. It gives a flexible option for reduction and enlargement as zooming can be done 50% to 200% in increments of 1% in an exposure control which can be detected by it automatically or chosen manually between text or photo mode. It has paper feeders to take not only letter-size documents but also those that come between 4” x 6” to 11” to 17”. Multiple copying is as well available for FP-7718 enabling to 999 copies that then automatically resets to 1.

Paper sheet capacity is substantial at standard 1,150 paper sheets given by the dual 550-sheet paper tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray great for handling copies onto special media types. If this still sounds insufficient, the standard 1,150 paper sheet capacity is expandable for up to 2,800 paper sheets. . To complement these paper feeders is an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and Inverting Automatic Document Feeder (iADF), both can take up to 30 sheets for legal-size and ledger-size papers and 50 sheets for invoice-size and letter-size papers. Both paper feeders come standard with FP-7718 and are very helpful for feeding originals automatically and especially the iADF which is great for multi-size feeding and duplex copying. It is significant aid from start to finish with it offering an optional 10 and 20 Bin Sorters great for sorting, stacking and stapling copies. The 20-bin sorter comes in two types, the FA-S575 and FA-S680, and the 10-bin sorter also of two types, the FA-S280 and FA-S615. An Automatic Duplexing Unit also comes standard with FP-7722 which is great for duplex copying.

FP-7718 also is perfect for small offices as it requires only limited space to be accommodated at its dimensions of 23.9” x 26.0” x22.9” (W x D x H).

User-friendly features include SkyShot which creates copies of small-sized or unusually sized originals without generating unnecessary dark areas. There’s also the OHP Interleaving that lets insertion of pages between transparencies to minimize static electricity.

Cons:

FP-7722 comes with its sister monochrome copiers also by Panasonic that boasts faster copy speeds and additional helpful features. Capabilities of FP-7722 are all evident for its sister copiers and so establishments may consider choosing those when opted to. Mobility can be a hassle as well with the relatively heavy weight at approximately 154 lbs.

Operating system compatibility is also a hassle as by default, it is incompatible to newer operating systems including Windows XP, Vista and 7 since its compatibility are on operating systems prior to its release and so driver/s (if available, which may be found directly in the official manufacturer’s site) is/are needed to be downloaded and installed to be compatible with these operating systems.
