HP COLOR LASERJET 3700N IMAGE TRANSFER KIT

The main component of the image transfer kit is the transfer unit. The transfer unit transports the paper inside the HP Color LaserJet 3700n Printer and transfers the toner form the toner cartridges onto the paper. You can check the status of the installed transfer unit by printing a supplies status page, which can be selected from the [Information] menu of the control panel. You should install a new image transfer kit in the following circumstances:

[INSTALL TRANSFER UNIT] is displayed on the LCD screen – You must remove the transfer unit from the HP Color LaserJet 3700n Printer, and then install it by following the detailed instructions provided further below. Please install a new image transfer kit if the problem persists.

[ORDER TRANSFER KIT] – More than 55,000 pages have been printed since the installation of the image transfer kit. You should purchase a new image transfer kit soon.

[REPLACE TRANSFER KIT] – The installed transfer unit has been exhausted. You must install a new image transfer kit.

You must open the front door of your HP Color LaserJet 3700n Printer. Then, you must press the right blue button and slightly lift the right side of the exhausted transfer unit. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must detach the left side of the exhausted transfer unit, and then remove the exhausted component. After that, you must remove the new transfer unit carefully from the plastic bag, and then remove the orange tape and the shipping locks. Once the new transfer unit is prepared, you must insert the two pegs on the left side of the new component into the corresponding mounting holes on the inside of the front cover, and then lower the right side of the new transfer unit until the blue button on the right side clicks. Finally, you must close the front door, and then reset the transfer unit count by selecting [MENUS] – [Configure Device] – [RESETS] – [RESET SUPPLIES] – [NEW TRANSFER KIT] – [YES].
