HP Color LaserJet 3500 Review
Many office environments will have the need not only to print in black and white, but to also print out in color. Many printers offer this, but they usually are a much slower speed when printing out in color. The HP Color LaserJet 3500 on the other hand, is able to offer fast speeds in both of these printing methods, as well as high quality. Read below to find out more on what this HP printer has to offer.
Obviously printing speed is the main advantage of using this printer, especially if you are looking for color. It is capable of printing 12 pages per minute when printing in black and white, and 12 pages per minute when printing in color. It is quite rare to find a printer as cheap as this that can offer the same speed in both black and white and in color. 12 pages per minute would suit a small office or a home office. It would also be good for personal use for printing out your schoolwork for example.
A big downfall about this product is the fact it doesn't have network connectivity. Most offices will have a network installed in order to have access to each other’s computers, as well as have access to network ready machines. This means that if the user wants to connect to the printer, they will have to use a USB connection. This is fine if you are using this for personal use in your home, but in an office this can be very inconvenient. A network would also allow more than one people to connect to the machine at the same time, and therefore queue up jobs. Without this option users will have to wait there turn in order to use the machine.
