First uninstall the HP Image Zone software from your computer. If you are installing the HP all-in-one for the first time, use the setup guide and follow the directions. Next use the HP JetDirect 175x setup instructions to connect the print server to a LAN. Then hook up the HP JetDirect to the USB port. Next put the installation CD into your computer. The CD will be used to locate the HP JetDirect on your network. Now use INSTALL to run the HP JetDirect installer. When you are asked to, insert the HP all-in-one installation CD. At this point follow the steps for your operating system. For Windows XP or 2000 look at the root directory of the CD and choose the correct driver.inf for your HP all-in-one. Users with Windows 98 or ME need to use the CD and locate the drivers folder. Next locate the language subfolder. The printer driver file is hpoupdrx.inf. This process must be repeated for each driver. After doing this the installation will be complete.

Start by pressing and releasing the test button on the rear of the HP JetDirect 175x. Next enter the IP address of the HP JetDirect in a web browser. You will see the HP JetDirect web server open in your browser. Now select scan and follow the onscreen instructions.

Check that the HP all-in-one is turned on and that the initialization process is finished. Next connect the PicBridge compatible digital camera to the camera port on the front of your HP all-in-one using the USB cable supplied with your camera. Finally turn your camera on and put it in PictBridge mode.
