review - Canon imageClass MF4370dn Printer Review
Overview: The Canon imageClass MF4370dn is affordable and perfect for any sized office. It is an all-in-one laser printer. The printer can be connected to a network and provides the ability to print, scan, and fax over a network. It is perfect for sharing within a work group.
Pros: The MF4370dn also works as a standalone copier and fax machine. It comes with office-friendly features like a 35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) to scan, copy, and fax multipage documents. The ADF is only capable of scanning one side of a page. It does come with a duplexer for printing two-sided copies.
Best of all the Canon ImageClass MF4370 wonât take up a lot of space on your desk. The dimensions of it are 17.9 by 15.4 by 21 inches. Furthermore it is easy to move since it only weights 27.6 pounds.
The imageClass MF4370dn is fast and offers printing speeds of up to 23 pages per minute. This printer also excels when it comes to text quality. Fonts are highly readable and well formed at 5 points and some are even good at 4 points. It may be not meet the highest demands when printing small fonts; however it offers professional quality printing when printing larger fonts. It gets the job done and does it well.
Cons: One thing that this printer lacks is the ability to scan to email. Overall the printer is excellent, but it does lack some of the latest features available for office printers and scanners.
When printing graphics you will see visible dithering such as mild patterns at some shades of gray. Some prints will have a smudged look rather than a smooth gradient. Graphics do not come out at a professional grade. Photos printed with the MF4370dn also lacked the quality you would need for external use.
