Replacing the Toner Cartridges in a Konica Minolta BizHub C35P

If your machine settings are managed to do so, the printer will warn you when a cartridge is running low so that you will be able to purchase the new cartridge before this one is completely out of toner. In this case a message “ Toner low X” will appear on the display.

When the message changes into “Toner Out X” it means that you have to replace the empty cartridge so you can continue working. The X sign will be replaced with the color name of the cartridge ( Cyan, Magenta, Yellow or Black).

To replace it, first you have to turn OFF the machine.

Then open the front cover of the printer.

In front of the cartridge which you want to replace, pull the lever to its left side to unlock it.

After that take the handle of the cartridge and pull it out of the printer.

Prepare the new cartridge by unpacking it and shaking it 2-3 times.

Unpeel the protective seal bandage that is located on the cartridge’s right side.

Then return the new cartridge into its place into the machine and turn the lever right to lock the cartridge to its right position.

When you are done just close the front cover of the machine and turn it back ON.

Repeat these actions to replace any of the four cartridges in the printer if there is need to.

Replacing the Transfer Belt in the Konica BizHub C35P Printer

When it is time to replace the Transfer Belt unit you will see a message on the screen that says “TRANS. BELT/END OF LIFE”.

To do this you first have to turn the printer OFF.

Then open the front cover of this machine and take out all of the color cartridges and the imaging units and the waste toner bottle.

When it is done pull the lever that is positioned on the right side of the printer and open the door.

In both ends there are holders called guides. You have to pull them down to release the unit.

Prepare the new unit. Take off every protective covers from it.

Slide the unit in along the rails you which you will see on both sides of the machine. Slide it in until it clicks in its right place.

Return up the holders (guides) and close the right cover.

Re-install all of the cartridges and waste toner bottle to their original positions.

Close the front door and turn the machine back ON.

Then you just have to reset the Imaging unit by following these steps:

The quality of scans with this device is excellent. Scan resolution is 600 X 600dpi.
Overall, the Konica Minolta BizHub C35P does an outstanding job and does it well. It is an outstanding solution for any business looking for an all-in-on printer, copier, fax, and scanner.

Cons:
