You should replace the installed fuser assembly unit in the following circumstances:

The error code [6000] is displayed – The Kyocera Mita FS-3820n Laser Printer has detected that one of the components of the installed fuser assembly unit is faulty. You should restart the laser printer, and then check if the message is still displayed. Please install a new fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

The error code [6030] is displayed – This is an indication for a detected thermistor error. You should try to solve the problem by turning the laser printer off, and then back on. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

Repetitive image defects appearing at intervals of 2,8 in or 3,1 in – The installed fuser assembly unit is defective or damaged. Please install a new fuser assembly unit.

How to Install a Fuser Assembly Unit in the Kyocera Mita FS-3820n Laser Printer

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must turn the laser printer off, unplug the power cord, and then wait at least 20 minutes to allow the installed fuser assembly unit to cool down. After that, you must unplug the three connectors and the tab of the exhausted fuser assembly unit, and then remove the screws fixing the exhausted component to the printer frame.
