Kyocera Mita FS-3820N Review
Providing decent quality prints at a speedy rate and exemplary paper handling performance, Kyocera Mita FS-3820N monochrome laser printer never puts you in jeopardy as it is pocket-friendly and environmentally friendly. Without disintegrating environment for its design under the ECOSYS technology, it puts you in satisfaction for money spent great in large printing jobs in various paper sizes.
Durability is worth noting for every Kyocera Mita printers including FS-3820N with the drum unit and toner cartridge made under the guarantee to last longer and is covered by a standard 2-year return-to-base warranty. These just simply signify a low running cost boasting a cost per page of only 0.495 cents. Such durable printer is as well professional-looking with a shape resembling a box relieved by slightly curved edges at the top panel where interesting features are readily visible. The whole of the printer is styled in beige with a prominent dark gray glass panel at the front most top enough to cover the LCD display which indicates some important printing statuses. Just right beside it is a rectangle of elongated eight buttons for controls.
Setting up FS-3820N is not that straightforward making it seemingly confusing and time-consuming. If you’re new to printers, you may require some technical help in setting it up but if you're good at following directions, the set-up guide will be enough to aid you. Although text print can be generally rated as above average, photo and graphic prints pose slight bandings and light-shaded dark regions which significantly lose some details. Operating system compatibility is also a hassle as by default, it is incompatible to newer operating systems namely Windows Vista and 7 since its compatibility are on operating systems prior to its release or in the case of Windows OS, its compatibility is only until Windows XP and so driver/s (if available, which may be found directly in the official manufacturer’s site) is/are needed to be downloaded and installed to be compatible with these newer operating systems.
