KM-3035 FUSER ASSEMBLY UNIT

The fuser assembly unit installed in your Kyocera Mita KM-3035 Laser Printer melts, fuses, and fixes the toner image onto the paper. The lifespan of the fuser assembly unit is approx. 400,000 pages. You can view the total number of pages printed since the installation of the fuser assembly unit by executing the short procedure provided below.

Checking the Fuser Count

1. You must make sure that your Kyocera Mita KM-3035 Laser Printer is on.
2. Press the [Start] button, and then use the numeric keys to enter [10871087].
3. Use the [Up] or [Down] button to select [165], and then press the [Start] button.

You should replace the installed fuser assembly unit after 400,000 prints, or if any of the listed error codes and print quality problems appears.

The error code [C6410] is displayed – The Kyocera Mita KM-3035 Laser Printer does not detect the fuser assembly unit. The most common causes for this problem are listed below:”

The connector of the fuser assembly unit is not inserted into the main board
The fuser assembly unit is missing/not installed
The fuser assembly unit is defective
The fuser assembly unit is damaged

         You must make sure that the fuser assembly unit is installed correctly, and then restart the laser printer. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

Offset occurs – The heat and pressure rollers of the installed fuser assembly unit are defective, exhausted, or damaged. You should install a new fuser assembly unit.

Poor fusing/fixing of the toner image – The most common cause for this print quality problem is a flawed pressure roller and/or defective heat roller. You should replace the fuser assembly unit.

Important: Please handle the fuser assembly unit with care to avoid burns as it can be extremely hot.

Initially, you must turn the laser printer off, and then unplug the power cord. Please wait at least 10 minutes before proceeding with the next step. Next, you must open the front cover and the conveying cover of the Kyocera Mita KM-3035 Laser Printer. Then, you must detach the front left cover by removing the three screws. After that, you must remove the mounting screw from the front side of the exhausted fuser assembly unit, and then pull the exhausted component out of the laser printer. Now, you must unpack the new fuser assembly unit, and then insert it into the machine. Once the new fuser assembly unit is firmly inserted, you must fix it into place with the mounting screw, and then reinstall the front left cover. Finally, you must close all printer covers, and then turn the Kyocera Mita KM-3035 Laser Printer on.
