  OVER 100

Price:  $62.89
Product Description
Kyocera Mita KM-5035 Toner Cartridge - 34,000 Pages

This toner cartridge prints 34000 pages with average 5% coverage (Nearly all Printer manufacturers base their ink/toner cartridge yields on 5% page coverage).

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Kyocera Mita.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

Kyocera Mita KM-5035 Review

Kyocera Mita KM-5035 is a multifunction device engineered to meet the serious demands of business environments ensuring a higher productivity and performance of a workgroup. It is the fastest in terms of engine speed in the batch of three same looking KM series model released by Kyocera Mita. Incorporated by Kyocera’s excellent innovative technology, KM-5035 handles workload on documents that are either paper-based or electronic and features a print, copy, scan and fax functions. And with it having a low running and maintenance cost, not only workflow efficiency is attained but as well as cost-effectiveness with increased financial savings. As with its batch KM series multifunction device (the KM-3035 and KM-4035), it appears like a large rectangular box only with a smaller rectangular compartment extended in its left which functions to be a paper feeder. A cream color is covering it with a few panels in dark gray color. At the front most portion of the top panel are highlights embedded in a dark gray panel which include an LCD display and an array of control buttons including the three larger ones in yellow, orange and green color used for some basic functions such as for initiating and terminating print and copy actions.

Network connectivity and management is essential in a busy workgroup that’s why KM-5035 has advanced network utility setup and the KM-NET Viewer integrated in it. With these tools, configuration is made readily accessible and administration is made flexible and easy. Minimal time therefore is only required for administrators while management capabilities are maximized.

A multifunction device of components that can only take moderate or light printing jobs does not even describe KM-5035 because its components notably its drum unit is made to be very durable along with its other components that can take relatively abusive printing needs claiming to output a maximum of 150,000 pages per month. A substantial paper sheet capacity fits this performance which is standard at 1,200 sheets given by a dual 500-sheet paper drawer and a 200-sheet Multipurpose tray perfect when using special media types such as transparencies and envelopes. This paper capacity is expandable for up to an impressive 4,200 paper sheets for your ultra-large paper volume needs. Plus the reversing automatic document feeder saves a lot of time as it conducts the automatic loading and flipping of paper when a double-sided output is desired. Warm-up time is within 25 seconds and first copy time is 3.5 seconds. Per minute output speed is excellent at 50 PPM (pages per minute) for letter size, 26 PPM for legal size and also 26 PPM for ledger size.

The print system supports a wide array of emulations including PRESCRIBE, PCL6, KPDL3, KCGL, Diablo 630, IBM Proprinter X24, Epson LQ 850 and Line printer and has drivers to support various platforms. The memory is standard at 64 MB which is expandable to 576 MB via 100 pin DIMM slot and the processor is a 500 MHz embedded PowerPC 750. And print system is integrated with a universal KX driver which gives a full access and control over all paper sources, publishing features and advanced finishing capabilities.
Copy functions include continuous copy of up to 999 which then auto resets to 1 in imaging modes which can be either in text mode, photo mode or both. TWAIN scanning, scan to PC/file, scan to Mac, scan to email and scan to FTP is possible with the scan system of KM-5035 under 200 DPI, 300 DPI, 400 DPI and 600 DPI resolutions. The document can be saved and sent in PDF or TIFF file format and the scanning speed is decent at 50 sheets per minute. Fax system is super G3 compatible with a modem speed of 33.6 Kbps and transmission speed of approximately 3 seconds per page. It has a standard fax memory of 8 MB that’s expandable for up to a maximum of 16 MB.

It is bulky with its large dimensions of 23”W x 25”D x 29”H and nearly immobile at a weight of 180 lbs. Operating system compatibility is also a hassle as by default, it is incompatible to newer operating systems namely Windows Vista and 7 since its compatibility are on operating systems prior to its release or in the case of Windows OS, its compatibility is only until Windows XP and so driver/s (if available, which may be found directly in the official manufacturer’s site) is/are needed to be downloaded and installed to be compatible with these newer operating systems.
