How to Install a Drum in the Lanier 5518 Multifunctional Device

Initially, you must switch the Lanier 5518 Multifunctional Device off, and then unplug the power cord. Next, you must open the front door, and then remove the toner cartridge. After that, you must remove the toner cartridge holder by pulling it away from the main unit while pushing the release lever down, and then open the right door. Now, you must remove the photoconductor unit from the machine, and then separate the front side peace of the photoconductor unit from the rear side piece by removing the screws and the coupling. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must detach the drum retaining clip from the left side of the photoconductor unit, and then remove the exhausted drum. After that, you must unpack the new drum, and then install it by executing the current procedure in reverse order. Finally, you must initialize and clean the new drum by executing the short procedure included below.

1. Print five pages
2. Open and close the front door.
3. Wait 10 seconds
4. Open and close the front door again
5. Print four solid black pages
