The initial starter roll/ribbon installed in your Sharp UX-P200 Plain-Paper Fax Machine has a resource for approximately 45 letter-size pages, and it will be consumed very fast. When the imaging film/Ribbon (the starter roll) runs out of printing resource, you will see the following message ``Check Film`` on your UX-P200`s display. Once you`ve replaced the exhausted imaging film/Ribbon with a new one, you will be able to print up to approximately 165 letter-size pages.

The imaging film/ribbon replacement procedure in your Sharp UX-P200 requires the complete removal of the paper from the paper tray. Once the paper is removed, you must press the [1] button and open the operation panel by grabbing its lower side and pulling slowly up. Next, you must remove the used film/ribbon by detaching both green gears on the left and pulling up the ribbon, until you are able to slide it to the left side. After that, you must detach both green gears from the spools by slowly pulling them out, unpack the new imaging film/ribbon and cut the holding band. Now, you must insert the green gears from the old ribbon to the new one, but do not forget to check, if the gears fit into the slots in the ends of the rolls. In the next step of the imaging film/ribbon replacement procedure, you must insert the new film/ribbon into the print compartment by unrolling the thick roll to the rear hub and fitting the ends of both rolls onto the UX-P200 ribbon hubs. Then, you must push down the green gears into place and start rotating the front green gear forward, until the film is taut. Finally, you can close the operation panel of your Sharp UX-P200 by slowly pressing down on both sides, until it clicks into place.
