How to Install a Drum in the Sharp AR-M455N Laser Printer

The drum replacement procedure in your Sharp AR-M455N Laser Printer includes the complete disassembly of the drum cartridge. Initially, you must pull out the left door by releasing its lock and then open the front cover. Now, you must pull down the DV guide handle and remove the drum cartridge by loosening the front screw and pulling the cartridge towards you. Once the drum cartridge is out of the printer, you must loosen the screw in order to remove the drum boss mounting plate, and then you will be able to detach the exhausted drum from the drum cartridge. After the above old drum removal, you can unpack the new drum and install it by following the above procedure in reverse order. When you have replaced the exhausted drum with the new one, you must clear/reset both the ‘’drum rotating time’’ and the ‘’drum ’’ counters.
