HP DESKJET 5150 BLACK OEM INK CARTRIDGE

You can use the following ink cartridges in your HP DeskJet 5150 Color InkJet Printer: Black, Tri-color, and Photo. The installed ink cartridges should be replaced if any of the listed indications or print-quality problems appears.

The [Ink Cartridge Status] LED (located next to the [Print Cancel] button) is on – You should turn the inkjet printer off and then back on. If the [Ink Cartridge Status] LED is still on, you should check if any of the installed ink cartridges is low on ink. Please replace all nearly empty ink cartridges.

The [Ink Cartridge Status] LED is on and flashing – The HP DeskJet 5150 Color InkJet Printer has detected an ink-cartridge error. You must make sure that the installed ink cartridges are intended for use in your inkjet printer. Please replace the installed ink cartridges if the problem persists.

Printouts are blank, faded, or are missing lines/dots – You should try to solve the problem by cleaning the installed ink cartridges – select [Printer Maintenance] – [Clean Cartridges] – [Clean]. Please replace all nearly empty ink cartridges if print quality does not improve.

You must make sure that your HP DeskJet 5150 Color InkJet Printer is turned on, and then load paper into the input tray. Next, you must open the cover of the print compartment, and then lift the latch of the ink cartridge that you want to replace. After that, you must remove the exhausted ink cartridge by pulling it straight towards you. Then, you must take the new ink cartridge out of the plastic bag and remove the protective tape. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must align the new ink cartridge with its color-coded slot, so that the copper strip is on the bottom and facing toward the printer, and then insert the new component into place. Finally, you must push down the latch until it snaps into place, and then close the top cover of your HP DeskJet 5150 Color InkJet Printer.
