HP PSC 2410XI BLACK OEM INK CARTRIDGE

The ink cartridges installed in your HP PSC2410xi Multifunction Photo Printer are consumable components, which must be replaced before the complete exhaustion of their print resource (ink). Otherwise, the print quality will be gradually decreasing, and the printer will automatically switch to a non-operational mode eventually. Therefore, you should check the ink supply level and the ink cartridges status frequently. There are two methods/ways to check the ink supply level and the ink cartridges status.

1. Check the ink levels from the ‘’HP Photo & Imaging Director (HP Director)’’ app.
2. Print a self-test report by pressing [Setup] – [1] – [4]. The self-test report includes ink cartridges status information.

Most print quality issues are commonly caused by exhausted or damaged ink cartridges. Herein, you should replace the installed ink cartridges, if the print quality is unsatisfactory. Please note that you can resolve some print quality issues by selecting the automatic ‘’Clean Print Cartridge’’ procedure from the ‘’Setup’’ menu.
You should always keep a spare set of ink cartridges for your HP PSC2410xi Multifunction Photo Printer in stock, but please remember to store all consumables in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must make sure that your HP PSC 2410xi Multifunction Photo Printer is turned on, and then open the ink-cartridge access door by grasping its handle and pulling gently upwards. Please be aware that the ink cartridge holder will be automatically moved to the right side of the compartment. In the next step, you must unlock the exhausted ink cartridge by lifting the latch of the corresponding slot up, and then gently push the used cartridge down. Now, you must remove the exhausted/empty ink cartridge by carefully pulling it towards you, and then unpack the new component. Please avoid touching the copper contacts and the ink nozzles of the new ink cartridge. After that, you must detach the plastic tape from the nozzles of the new cartridge, and then insert the prepared new component into the corresponding slot of the ink cartridge holder. Please note that the new ink cartridge will click into place, if it has been inserted correctly. Please also note that the installed ink cartridges must be arranged in the following order (left – right): Tri-color ink cartridge and Black/Photo ink cartridge. Once you have inserted the new ink cartridge, you must lower the latch of the corresponding slot, so it snaps over the bottom tabs, and then close the ink-cartridge access door. Finally, you must align the installed ink cartridges by pressing [Setup] – [5] – [2].
