The Epson Stylus Photo 700 carries impressive speeds for a color inkjet printer that is built for producing high quality photos and images, registering at approximately 90 seconds for photos with a 3 x 5 inch dimension and under 5 minutes for photos with dimensions of 8 x 10 inches. For its printing method, the Epson Stylus Photo 700 utilizes Epson's drop-on demand Micro Piezo ink jet technology, allowing it to provide a stable color configuration in producing print outputs. The color configuration features a monochrome head with 32 nozzles and a color head, also with 32 nozzles divided into its 5 color ink cartridges. Featured resolution configurations are 180 x 180 dots per inch (dpi), 360 x 360 dpi, 720 x 720 dpi and a maximum of 1,440 x 720 dpi.

For its connectivity options, the Epson Stylus Photo 700 features direct camera-to-printer printing, a very useful feature especially for users that want a quick and convenient way of printing their photos.
