When do I Replace an Ink Cartridge in the Epson Stylus 860

An installed ink cartridge should be replaced if:

� An [Ink Out] light is flashing

� An ink cartridge is more than six months old

How to Install an Ink Cartridge in the Epson Stylus 860

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must switch your Epson Stylus 860 on, and then open the cover of the main compartment. After that, you must hold the cleaning button down until the [Power] LED begins flashing, and then raise the protective lid of the slot where the exhausted ink cartridge is installed. Now, you must remove the exhausted ink cartridge by pulling it straight upwards, and then remove the yellow tape from the replacement ink cartridge. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new ink cartridge into the empty slot, and then secure the new component with the lid. Finally, you must press the [Cleaning] button, and then close the cover of the main compartment.
