EPSON STYLUS CX7400 BLACK OEM INK CARTRIDGE

You should replace an ink cartridge(s), if:

The [Ink] LED is flashing – One or more installed ink cartridges are nearly empty. You should use the Epson software installed on your computer to determine, which ink cartridges need to be replaced. All nearly empty ink cartridges must be replaced soon, in order to be avoided print quality issues.

The [Ink] LED is on – One or more ink cartridges are empty or incorrectly installed. Therefore, you must make sure that all ink cartridges are correctly installed, and then check their status from the computer connected to the Epson Stylus CX7400 All-in-One Printer.

One of the listed print quality issues appears:

White or dark lines across the document
Faded printouts
Gaps
Incorrect or missing colors

In the first step of the installation, you must turn your Epson Stylus CX7400 All-in-One Printer on, and open the scanner. Then, you must press the [Stop] button to move the ink cartridges to the replacement position. Once the ink carriage stops moving, you must open its cover, and then pull the used ink cartridge upwards while squeezing its releasing tab. After that, you must shake the replacement ink cartridge (while it is still into the package) 5-6 times from side to side, and then remove the new component from the protective packaging. Please avoid touching the green chip of the new ink cartridge. In the next step of the installation, you must insert the new ink cartridge into the corresponding slot until it clicks into place, and then close the carriage cover firmly. Finally, you must close the scanner, and then press the [Stop] button. The Epson Stylus CX7400 All-in-One Printer will be ready for use after about 2 minutes.
