When do I Replace a Fuser Maintenance Kit in the HP Color LaserJet 3550 Multifunction Printer?

How to Install a Fuser Maintenance Kit in the HP Color LaserJet 3550 Multifunction Printer
In the first step, you must turn off your HP Color LaserJet 3550 Multifunction Printer by pressing its power switch to [0] position. Then, you must open the rear output bin and wait at least 10 minutes before proceeding with the next step of the replacement procedure. In the next step, you must slide out the tray extender of the rear output bin, and then lift and pull the rear output bin towards you while pressing the tab with the ridges on the left side. After that, you must remove the rear output bin from the main unit, and then pull up the four blue latches of the exhausted fuser unit. Now, you must remove the exhausted fuser unit by carefully pulling it towards you, and then unpack the new fuser maintenance kit. At this stage of the installation, you must slide the new fuser unit (from the new fuser maintenance kit) into the slot until it clicks into place, and then slide the two green levers to upper (locked) position. Once the new fuser unit is correctly inserted, you must reattach the rear output bin to the main unit, and then lower its extension. In the next step, you must close the rear output bin, and then remove the lower paper tray from the main unit. Now, you must you must detach the right peg of the old pickup roller from the main unit by pushing the blue side of the roller to the right. After that, you must gently pull the right side of the used pickup roller towards you, and then take the exhausted component out of the main unit. After the removal of the old pickup roller, you must take the new component from the new fuser maintenance kit, and insert its left peg into the left hole of the slot. Once the left peg inserted, you must push the new pickup roller towards the main unit to attach the right peg, and then turn the blue side of the new component upwards until you hear a click. In the next step, you must reinsert the lower paper tray into the printer, and then push the power switch to [I] position. Finally, you must reset the fuser counter by executing the included below procedure.

1. Enter the ‘’Menus’’ section by pressing the [Menu] button.
2. Navigate to [Configure Device] – [RESETS] – [RESET SUPPLIES] – [NEW FUSER KIT].
3. Confirm the installation of a new fuser unit by selecting [Yes].
