HP DesignJet 100 Printer Review

Overview:

The solution to your printing needs is the HP DesignJet 100. It will run you around $1000, but only produces 11 pages per minute and only has a paper capacity of 100 sheets. The final results with the DeskJet 100 are outstanding. Color images are of professional quality.

Pros:

The DeskJet 100 is well built and weighs 43.6 pounds. It is perfect for heavy duty printing in your office or your home. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. One feature that it offers is the ability to print pages of up to 13”X19”. It is versatile and offers low cost output capacity. With this printer you can print on glossy paper, transparencies tracing paper, and vellum. With the DeskJet 100 you can print directly from the USB port saving you time.

Output quality with the DeskJet 100 will surprise you. Copies look like the originals. Color images are vivid and bright with accurate colors.

The DeskJet 100 requires the use of four different cartridges. They are for black, magenta, yellow and cyan. With this printer you won’t need to change ink very often, saving you money. Toner cartridges for the machine yield 1,750 pages.

Cons:

Some users of the DeskJet 100 have had major maintenance issues. Furthermore it is noisy, making it difficult to work when it is printing. Another drawback of this printer is that paper tends to jam.
