You must switch the HP DeskJet F4240 InkJet Printer on, and load A4 paper into the input tray. After that, you must open the door of the ink cartridge compartment, wait until the carriage stops moving, and then unlock the exhausted ink cartridge by pushing it down. Now, you must remove the exhausted ink cartridge from the printer, and then remove the plastic tape from the new ink cartridge by carefully pulling the pink tab.
