To set the device to print fax error reports automatically via the device control panel, press Setup. Then press Print Report, and then press Fax Error Report. Lastly, press the right arrow button to select the desired option and then press OK.

First take any media out of the output tray. Next check the duplexer. Then push the button on the duplexer in order to remove the panel or unit. At this point try to find any jammed media inside the device and take it with both hands. Next open the cover and remove any waste. If you still have not found the jam pull out tray 2 and remove the jam if there is one. You may also want to try turning the device off and pulling the plug. Also try lifting the device off tray 2. Another step in order to avoid paper jams is to store all paper flat. Furthermore it is important not to combine different paper types and paper sizes in the input tray. Additionally don’t push the paper too far forward in the input tray. Finally try to use paper that is recommended for the printer.

Start by turning the printer on and then open the ink cartridge door. Next take the ink cartridges out and place them on a piece of paper with the ink opening pointing up. Then use the latch handle on the print cartridge. Lift the printhead straight up to remove it. At this point you can clean the three areas of the printhead. Owners of the printer need to clean the electrical contracts, plastic ramps, and the edge between the nozzles and the electrical contacts. The following step is to clean the electrical contacts inside the product.  To do this one needs to take a damp cloth. Then clean the electrical contacts in the product by cleaning it with a cloth from top to bottom. Next make sure that the latch handle is raised and then put the printhead back in.
