3 Products for the Toshiba e-Studio 190f Laser Printer
Toshiba e-Studio 190F Review
With the advantage of Toshiba’s imaging solutions, you can really watch your office productivity soar with Toshiba e-Studio 190F. It is a versatile multifunction facsimile system designed for medium to large workgroups offering fax, print and scan. Toshiba e-Studio 190F is a significant boost to the workflow efficiency thanks to its high performance loaded with a wide range of flexibility options. It generally resembles a rectangular box in cream color with a gray color on the top part which contains in it some useful highlights. These include an 2-line LCD display and an array of several buttons for controls all over including the three larger ones in red, blue and green color used for basic functions such as for starting and stopping print, scan or fax actions.
It boasts its amazing fax system which sends your documents at a fast transmission speed of approximately 2.7 seconds per page (letter size). Faxing uses ITU-T Group 3 and ECM communication mode that’s Super G3 compatible with modem speed of 33.6 Kbps. Scanning speed is impressive at approximately 0.7 seconds per page (letter size) which can take up a document size with maximum dimensions of 8.5” x 78.7” or smaller documents of up to a minimum dimensions of 5.8” x 5”. Imaging solutions integrated in e-Studio 190F allows you to choose four different modes of resolution namely the standard, fine, super fine and 600 DPI mode. The standard mode offers a resolution of 203 DPI x 98 LPI, fine mode offers 203 DPI x 196 LPI, super fine mode offers 406 DPI x 391 LPI and 600 x 600 DPI for the 600 DPI mode. For a networked environment, scanning needs isn’t a problem that in fact it can provide such needs in a network scanning speed of approximately 1.1 seconds and opts you to choose a scanning resolution of whether 600 x 600 DPI, 300 x 300 DPI or 150 x 150 DPI. Scanned documents can be saved and sent in TIFF or PDF data format.
Operating system compatibility is also a hassle as by default, it is incompatible to newer operating systems namely Windows Vista and 7 since its compatibility are on operating systems prior to its release or in the case of Windows OS, its compatibility is only until Windows XP and so driver/s (if available, which may be found directly in the official manufacturer’s site) is/are needed to be downloaded and installed to be compatible with these newer operating systems. |
