The HP Color Copier 160 is affordable, but not very fast. This unit has many outstanding features including digital image processing, an automatic document feeder and digital zoom help. Output quality is good thanks to 600 X 600 dpi prints in color and black and white.

Pros:

The HP Color Copier 160 uses two toner cartridges black and tricolor. Cyan, magenta and yellow printer ink make up this unit's tricolor tanks. Black toner cartridges yield 830 prints.

This unit has many outstanding features. The HP Color Copier 160 has a monthly duty cycle of 3,000 pages. Users who can be tolerant with the HP Color Copier 160's printing speeds and tendency for a lower printer ink resolution may find this unit to be a good purchase.

This unit is designed for home use. The input tray only holds 30 sheets of paper. As you can see it was designed for low volume home printing. With its slow speeds, offices that use this copier will easily become frustrated.


Printing speeds for this copier are well below normal, compared to other recent units. It produces 11 copies per minute in black and 8.5 copied per minute in color. However don’t worry too much since it offers high quality output. Text is sharp and perfect for business use. Color images are vivid and show no signs of dithering.

Cons:

The HP Color Copier 160 lacks faxing capabilities. As a result you will need to purchase a seperate fax machine.
