Initially, you must open the front door, and then lift the top cover of your Dell Color 3000CN Laser Printer. Now, you must unlock the exhausted imaging drum cartridge by pushing upwards the lock release lever, which is located on the right inner side of the printer, and then remove the exhausted consumable component by pulling it towards you at an angle of about 45degrees. Please note that you should avoid touching the sensitive green surface of the photoconductive drum (at the bottom of the new imaging drum cartridge).
