GESTETNER DSC-525 BLACK OEM TONER CARTRIDGE

The four toner cartridges installed in your Gestetner DSc525 Laser Copier are consumable components. You can check the estimated toner levels from the [Remaining Toner] sub-menu of the [Maintenance Info] menu. You should replace an installed toner cartridge(s) when any of the listed indications appears.

Five short beeps repeated five times – You must check the machine for paper jams, and then check the toner levels. Please replace all empty/nearly empty toner cartridges.

[Cannot print from the sub-machine. Check the status of the sub-machine.] – You should load paper into the input tray, and then check the toner levels. All empty/nearly empty toner cartridges must be replaced.

There is no response when you press [Connect/Copy] – You must make sure that the machine has enough paper and toner. You should replace all exhausted toner cartridges.

Copies are too light – Indication for a low toner level. All nearly empty toner cartridges should be replaced.

White lines appear – Indication for insufficient toner levels. All nearly empty toner cartridges should be replaced.

[Toner cartridge is almost empty] or [Replace Toner Cartridge] is displayed – All copy/print operations will be disabled after less than 1,000 copies, if you do not replace all nearly empty toner cartridges.

[Add Toner] is displayed – One or more installed toner cartridges are empty. You must install new toner cartridges of the corresponding colors.

In order to replace an installed toner cartridge, you must open the front cover of your Gestetner DSc525 Laser Copier, and then pull the lever of the toner-cartridge holder towards you. Next, you must pull the green lock release lever up, and then remove the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling it towards you. After that, you must redistribute the toner by shaking the new toner cartridge 6-7 times from side to side, and then remove the outer protective cap from the new component. Now, you must insert the new toner cartridge into the holder, and then push it forward until the green lock release lever clicks. Finally, you must return the toner-cartridge holder to its original position, and then close the front cover of your Gestetner DSc525 Laser Copier.
