CANON PIXMA MP495 BLACK OEM INK CARTRIDGE

Initially, you must open the scanning unit of your Canon PIXMA MP495 and fix it in opened position with the special support lever. Please note that the ink cartridges holder/the print head will be automatically moved to the center of the compartment. In case that the holder/head is still in the right sight of the compartment, you must close and reopen the scanning unit. Now, you must unlock the slot, where the exhausted ink cartridge is installed, by lifting its locking cover, and then take the exhausted ink cartridge out of the printer. After that, you must unpack the new ink cartridge, and then remove its protective orange tape by pulling the tape in the indicated direction, but please avoid touching the contact area of the new ink cartridge. Please note that the correct arrangement/order of the installed ink cartridges is as follows (from left to right): Color ink cartridge, Black ink cartridge. Once the new ink cartridge is prepared, you must insert it into the appropriate slot of the holder/print head, and then secure the new component by pushing the locking cover of the slot down until it clicks. Finally, you must carefully close the scanning unit of your Canon PIXMA MP495, and then wait until the printer automatically switch to a ''stand-by'' mode (Approx. 2 minutes).
