When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Canon imageRUNNER 400N?

Your Canon imageRUNNER 400N is equipped with a toner sensor, which is constantly sending data to the built-in monitoring system. The built-in monitoring system will display the following message ‘’Add toner’’, when it detects a low toner level. You must install a new toner cartridge when the warning message appears. It is recommended to keep a new toner cartridge for your Canon imageRUNNER 400N in stock, but please store this consumable component in a cool location away from direct sunlight. Please follow the detailed instructions provided below to install a new toner cartridge in your Canon imageRUNNER 400N.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Canon imageRUNNER 400N

Initially, you must open the front cover of your Canon imageRUNNER 400N, and then unlock the toner box by pushing the blue lever to the right. After that, you must pull the toner box gently towards you until it stops, and unpack the new toner cartridge. Now, you must shake the new toner cartridge 8-10 times from side to side, and then place it on the toner box, so that the black cartridge knob is aligned with the protrusion of the box. In the next step, you must push the toner cartridge down to lock it into place, and then pull its black knob towards you until ‘’STOP’’ appears. After that, you must tap on the top of the toner cartridge several times, and then push the back knob back to its original position. Next, you must carefully remove the toner cartridge from the toner box, and then slide the toner box into the machine. In the concluding step, you must lock the toner box by raising its blue lever, and then close the front cover of your Canon imageRUNNER 400N.
