LANIER LP226CN BLACK OEM TONER CARTRIDGE

The toner cartridges installed in your Lanier LP-226cn Color Laser Printer have a printing resource for a certain number of prints/copies, which is defined by the print settings, % page coverage, the type and size of used paper. Eventually, the toner in any/several/all toner cartridges will be consumed, and then the built-in monitoring system will notify you with the listed below warning messages. When the toner level in only one toner cartridge is low, you will see the following message ‘’Add Toner XXX’’ appearing in the control display, where ‘’XXX’’ will be replaced with the color of the exhausted toner cartridge. If two or more toner cartridges are exhausted, the following message ‘’Add Toner XXX/XXX’’ will appear in the control display. Once any of the above messages appears, you must replace the specified exhausted toner cartridge/cartridges. Please note, that the black & white printing will be possible, if the black toner cartridge is not in the exhausted cartridges` list, but you must change the color mode to ‘’Black and White’’. However, once the black toner cartridges runs out of toner, all printing/copying operations will be suspended. Herein, you should always keep a spare set of toner cartridges for your Lanier LP-226cn Color Laser Printer.

You must start the toner cartridge replacement in your Lanier LP-226cn Color Laser Printer by opening the top cover and locating the exhausted toner cartridge/cartridges. Please note, the installed toner cartridges are arranged in the following order from the printer`s rear side towards the front: Yellow (‘’Y’’), Cyan (‘’C’’), Magenta (‘’M’’), Black (‘’K’’). After that, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the printer by pushing its lock release lever to the marked unlocked position and by lifting out the toner cartridge afterwards. Please note, you must avoid shaking the exhausted toner cartridge, in order to prevent toner leakage. Once the exhausted toner cartridge is out of the printer, you must unpack the new one, and then shake it at least 10 times vertically, in order to loosen and evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge. Now, you must remove the protective tape from the new toner cartridge. In the next step of the toner cartridge replacement procedure, you must hold the toner cartridge horizontally with its locking lever facing upwards and insert it into the toner cartridge slot, by pushing down the cartridge`s bottom first. Finally, you must secure the new toner cartridge by pulling its locking lever to the marked locked position, and then close the top cover of your Lanier LP-226cn Color Laser Printer. Please note, the printer will automatically switch to initializing mode, once you have closed the top cover, and you must not turn off its power during the initializing period.
