XEROX WORKCENTRE 7328 OEM DRUM

The installed drum cartridges in your Xerox WorkCentre 7328 have a certain printing resource, which is approximately 38000 6% covered pages for the black drum cartridge and 33000 6% covered pages for each color drum cartridge. Once any of the drum cartridges is close to the end of its useful life, the built-in drum monitoring system of your WorkCentre 7328 will notify you with a warning message. Eventually, the remaining drum`s printing resource will be used (if the cartridge is still not replaced) and all printing operations will be blocked. Herein, you should purchase a new drum cartridge soon after the initial warning message is displayed.

You must start the drum cartridge replacement procedure in your Xerox WorkCentre 7328 by unpacking the new drum cartridge. Then, you must open the front door of your printer and release the handle latch by pulling it up. Now, you must pull down the middle release handle and locate the exhausted drum cartridge afterwards. Once you have located the exhausted drum cartridge, you must take it out of the printer by grabbing its light orange front side and pulling towards you. After the exhausted drum cartridge removal, you must push completely the new drum cartridge (along with its protective shield) into the printer with the stamped arrow pointing forward and with the bottom of the protective shield resting on the release handle. Now, you must remove the top protective tape from the new drum cartridge, and then you must quickly insert the drum cartridge into the printer by pushing forward the orange triangle shaped tab. Once the drum cartridge is in place, you must completely remove the protective shield and return the middle release handle to its original position. In the final step of drum cartridge replacement procedure, you must push down the handle latch until it locks and close the front cover of your Xerox WorkCentre 7328.
