DP-6570 DRUM CLEANING BLADE

In order to replace the DRUM CLEANING BLADE in your DP-6570, you must remove several other components first. Below is the replacement procedure in the exact execution order.

Initially, you must open the upper inner cover and turn the slide lever of the developer unit in counterclockwise direction. After that, you can detach the connector and pull the developer unit toward you. Once the developer unit is out, you must remove the middle inner cover, remove the screw holding the main charger and pull the main charger to the front side. Now, you must remove the cleaner unit by disconnecting the 2 connectors and removing both screws, then hold the cleaner unit`s handle and pull it out. Please note, that the cleaner unit is heavy, and you must be careful while pulling it out. Next on the disassembly list is the drum, and you must start removing it by disconnecting the connector from the drum thermistor. After that, you must remove the bracket of the thermistor and rotate the cam until it locks. Once you remove the remaining 2 drum shaft fixing screws and afterwards the drum shaft, you will be able to remove the drum by lifting it up. You can proceed with the removal of the old drum cleaning blade by removing all 4 screws from the top cover. Then, you must turn the drum cleaning blade, while holding the bracket at the same time, and after that you can remove the remaining 1 screw. Now, you can take off the old cleaning blade and install the new one. Finally, you must return all components to their original places by following the above procedure in reverse order.
