You should replace the installed toner cartridge when the toner cartridge replacement indicator appears.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Xerox XC830 Laser Printer

You must press the release lever located on the front side of the main unit, and then open the machine. After that, you must press the toner cartridge release lever, and pull the exhausted toner cartridge out of the Xerox XC830 Laser Printer. Now, you must shake the new toner cartridge several times from side to side, and then remove the plastic cover from the new component. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new toner cartridge into the laser printer until it locks into place. Finally, you must close the Xerox XC830 Laser Printer.

The Xerox XC830 can warm up in just 30 seconds. This is great anytime you need to print out documents just before a meeting. Output quality is outstanding and it offers output speeds of 8 pages a minute. It also has a toner save mode that will reduce the amount of ink used and save you money.

Pros:

The control panel on the Xerox XC830 will make your life easier. There is a diagram on the control panel that will tell you where the error occurred. As a result you will be able to alleviate errors much quicker and get back to printing.
This unit can handle a variety of media types and paper sizes. It can handle paper from 5.5” x 8.5” to legal size. The Xerox XC830 has a multi-purpose slot for single transparencies, labels, post cards, and envelopes.
This unit can print 100 copies continuously at a rate of eight pages a minute. There is an automatic document feeder that can hold 20 one-sided originals. It also features a Toner Save mode that will save ink when printing drafts.
One outstanding feature of the Xerox XC830 is that it will reset all settings to their default after one minute of inactivity. As a result you won’t accidentally make 20 copies at 150% instead of one when you first use the machine due to the previous user printing 20 copies at 150%.

Cons:

This unit has a limited paper capacity of 100 sheets. Overall it is an excellent machine that will help you meet the printing demands of your office.
