This Toner Cartridge prints 32000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard IBM specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by IBM.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

The IBM I1552 offers many outstanding expandable features. Print quality is outstanding. Text is sharp and clear. Toner cartridges are affordable and yield around 21,000 prints.

Pros:

Using the IBM 1522 is affordable. Toner cartridges are inexpensive and yield 21,000 prints. Replacement toners can be purchased at low prices online, and compatible IBM 1552 toner is less expensive.

This unit weighs around 50 pounds and measures 17.2x20.6x16 inches. The standard paper capacity is 600 sheets which can be expanded to 4,100 sheets. It can handle a variety of media types such as labels, transparencies, recycled paper, and cards. It comes with 64 MB of memory that can be increased to 576 MB.

Print quality is outstanding thanks to a maximum resolution of 1200x1200 dpi. With this IBM 1552 you can create professional quality documents that are perfect for business use.

Cons:

There are several drawbacks to this machine. One is that it lacks color printing. Another shortcoming of this unit is that it lacks faxing capabilities. If your office needs faxing, you will have to purchase a separate machine.
