AR-BC320 OEM TONER CARTRIDGES SET

A display message reading TONER SUPPLY IS LOW will be accompanied by a row of four boxes, each representing a color of toner, on the Sharp AR-BC320’s screen when the toner in the machine drops to a low level. The letters Y, M, C, and Bk can appear alone or with other letters, depending on how many cartridges have dropped below the warning threshold.

To change one or more of the toner cartridges once their print quality has been reduced to a below acceptable level, begin by opening the front cover of the Sharp AR-BC320 by its release latch. The toner cartridges, from left to right, will be yellow, magenta, cyan, and black, and it is important to remember which of the colors needs to be changed as the process continues.

Choose the correct color cartridge and lift the cartridge lock lever to release it from the machine. WHILE HOLDING the lever up, pull the cartridge out of the machine. Be sure to support it with both hands so as to prevent it from spilling its remaining contents.

New toner cartridges must be shaken WELL before installing so that the toner inside remains loose during operation. A protective cover, as well as a protective strip of tape, must also be removed from the cartridge before it can be installed.

To install the cartridge, slide it into the device by lining up the groves on the cartridge with those in the machine. There is no danger of installing the wrong cartridge in the wrong place because only correct colored cartridges will fit in their proper homes. When installed correctly, the cartridge should snap into place. The lock lever can now be closed onto the cartridge and the front cover shut. The machine will become operable and will automatically enter resolution adjustment mode. This process will take 1 to 5 minutes.

For best results, users should be sure to store paper, toner, and other consumables in the clean and proper way. This will ensure less paper jams and print problems in the long run. Sharp also recommends using OEM parts for guaranteed performance.

Temperature is a factor when storing consumables, especially toner cartridges. As a rule of thumb, it is best to store cartridges in the same temperature climate as the printer. Paper, toner cartridges, and staple cartridges should be kept in a place that is clean and dry and NOT in direct sunlight, as this will dry out the toner.

Paper should be kept in its wrapper to keep out dust and kept lying flat to keep from bending and warping. Paper kept out of the wrapping can also be exposed to moisture, rendering it a significant paper jam hazard.

Toner cartridges should always be kept lying flat, as they would sit in the machine. This is due to the fact that the toner, if kept on end, can become pressed together and may never loosen up properly even when shaken vigorously. When toner cannot flow properly from the cartridge, the life and performance of the cartridge can be reduced significantly.

Spare parts must also be stored with care, though Sharp guarantees that spare parts will remain readily available for 7 years AFTER the termination of the product. This applies to OEM toner as well.
