SHARP AR-M160 DRUM

You must open the side cover, and then open the front cover of your Sharp AR-M160 Laser Printer. After that, you must remove the toner cartridge from the main unit, and then remove the drum cartridge. Now, you must detach the drum fixing plate from the front side of the drum cartridge, and then remove the exhausted OPC drum. Next, you must remove the two screws from the top side of the main charger unit, and then detach the main charger unit from the drum cartridge. Once the main charger unit is removed, you must detach the used cleaning blade by removing the three screws, and then unpack the new cleaning blade, but please do not unpack the new OPC drum yet. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must attach the new cleaning blade to the drum cartridge, and then use the three screws to fix it into place. After that, you must attach the main charger unit to the drum cartridge (use the two screws to fix it into place), and then unpack the new organic photoconductor drum. Please do not touch the green/blue surface of the new drum, in order to be avoided future print-quality problems. At this phase of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new drum into the drum cartridge, and then attach the drum fixing plate. Next, you must reinstall the drum cartridge and the toner cartridge, and then close the front cover of your Sharp AR-M160 Laser Printer. Finally, you must close the side cover of the laser printer, and then reset the drum counter by executing the short procedure included below.

Drum Counter Clear
1. Enter the simulation mode by pressing [#] – [Interrupt] – [C] – [Interrupt].
2. Enter the main code of the simulation – 24.
3. Press [Start]
4. Enter the simulation sub-code – 07.
5. Press [Start]
