When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Konica Minolta BizHub 361 Laser Printer?

The Konica Minolta BizHub 361 Laser Printer displays appropriate warning/error messages on the control panel LCD when any kind of abnormality occurs. All messages associated to the status of the installed toner cartridge are listed and explained below.

[Set the toner cartridge, and close all doors.] – The built-in monitoring system of your Konica Minolta BizHub 361 Laser Printer receives incorrect signals from the toner-cartridge sensor. You must make sure that the toner cartridge is installed correctly, and then check if the error message is still displayed. If the error persists, you must replace the installed toner cartridge.

[Toner is low. Replace when indicated] – The Konica Minolta BizHub 361 Laser Printer has detected a low toner level. Please make sure that you have a replacement toner cartridge.

[Toner is empty] – This indication appears when the installed toner cartridge reaches the end of its useful life. You must install a new toner cartridge.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Konica Minolta BizHub 361 Laser Printer

Initially, you must open the front door, and then release the lock of the toner cover. After that, you must open the toner cover, and then pull the toner cartridge holder towards you as far as it will go. Now, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the holder, and then unpack the new toner cartridge. In the next step, you must tap the bottom of the new toner cartridge on a solid surface several times in order to broken up any caked toner, and then shake the new cartridge at least 10 times from side to side to ensure equal toner distribution. After you have redistributed the toner, you must remove the protective cap from the shutter of the new toner cartridge, and then align the new component with the holder, so that the arrow mark on the cartridge is shown on the top. Once the new toner cartridge is correctly aligned, you must insert it into the holder, and then push the holder towards the main unit until it stops. Finally, you must close the toner cover, and then close the front cover of your Konica Minolta BizHub 361 Laser Printer.
