It is very straightforward to return the carrier manually. All you have to do is press RETURN. If you hold down this button the paper will feed automatically. The auto carrier return function can be activated by pressing [ALT]+[AUTO]. The carrier will return every time the [SPACE BAR] or [HYPEN] is selected in the hot zone. This function can be shut off by pressing [ALT] +[AUTO].

One problem you may run into is nothing happening with your typewriter even though the power is turned on.  If this happens check to see whether you power cord is plugged in. In the event that your power cord is plugged in and your typewriter still doesn’t work you may need to replace your power cord.

Sometimes users are not happy with the quality of printing that their Brother GX-6750 is providing. This may be the result that you have run out of ribbon. Also check that the daisy wheel has been properly installed. A third reason that your print quality may be low is that you did not press [Code] + [Reset] after replacing the cassette ribbon.

Another problem that you may have to handle when owning this typewriter is poor correction performance. Users will not get the quality they desire from corrections if the tape was not installed properly. Also check that you still have correction tape.
