BROTHER HL-4140CN COLOR TONER CARTRIDGES SET

An installed toner cartridge(s) should be replaced if any of the listed indications persists.

 

·         One or several toner cartridge indicators flash

 

·         One or several toner cartridge indicators disappear

 

·         The message [Replace Toner <> Replace XX toner cartridge] is displayed

 

·         The message [Cartridge Error] is displayed

 

·         The message [No Toner] is displayed

 

·         The message [Toner Error] is displayed

 

·         Poor print quality

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must switch your Brother HL-4140CN on, and then open the front cover by pressing its release button. After that, you must pull the drum unit towards you until it stops, and then press the exhausted toner cartridge forward to unlock it. Now, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the Brother HL-4140CN, and then open the cover of the corona wire (located inside the empty slot). In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must slide the green tab several times from side to side to clean the corona wire, and then close the cover. Once you have closed the corona wire cover, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it several times from side to side. Next, you must remove the protective cover from the new toner cartridge, and then insert the new component into the empty slot. After that, you must pull the new toner cartridge towards you until it clicks into place, and then slide the drum unit into the Brother HL-4140CN. Finally, you must close the front cover.
