When do I Replace a Drum Unit in the Brother HL-730

You should replace the drum unit installed in your Brother HL-730 if any of the listed indications appears.

How to Install a Drum Unit in the Brother HL-730

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must switch the Brother HL-730 off, and then close the output tray. After that, you must pull the exhausted drum unit out of the main compartment, and then remove the toner cartridge from the exhausted component. Now, you must take the new drum unit out of the protective bag, and then shake it several times from side to side. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the toner cartridge into the new drum unit, and then install the new component into the Brother HL-730. Finally, you must close the top cover, and then switch the machine back on.

How to Install a Fuser Heat Roller in the Brother HL-730

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must make sure that the Brother HL-730 is switched off, and then unplug the power cord. After that, you must remove the mounting screw from the fuser unit, and then disconnect the heater harnesses. Now, you must unplug the connector thermistor from the EL PCB, and then remove the fuser unit from the Brother HL-730. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the two screws from the fuser cover, and then open the fuser cover. After that, you must detach the right end of the paper eject roller shaft, and then remove the eject pinch rollers and the pinch springs. Next, you must detach the electrode plate by removing the screw, and then loosen the screw of the fuser cover. Now, you must remove the exhausted fuser heat roller, and then detach the halogen heater lamp from the exhausted component. Finally, you must unpack the new fuser heater roller, and then install it by executing the current procedure in reverse order.
