How to Install a Ribbon Cartridge in the Brother MFC-1870MC

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must open the top cover of your Brother MFC-1870MC by pushing the [OPEN] button, and then pull the exhausted ribbon cartridge out of the main unit. After that, you must take the new ribbon cartridge out of the protective bag, and then remove the paper stopper from the new component. Now, you must tighten the ribbon of the new cartridge by rotating the black spool, and then insert the new component into place. Finally, you must push the new ribbon cartridge down to ensure proper contact, and then close the top cover of your Brother MFC-1870MC.
