When to Replace the Drum Unit in a Brother MFC-9325CW Printer

You can manually check count of printed pages and images count. Press button to enter the menu. Using and arrows navigate to and go to menu which will show you paged printed by each color drum unit in Brother HL-3045CN printer.

LCD screen of Brother MFC-9325CW printer will inform you once a drum unit is almost at its life end by sending a message. Know that once you receive that message you have few pages left to print with that drum unit.
NOTE: Keep aside spear drum unit or order new one once you receive that message.

Receiving a message means that you will no longer be able to print until you change drum unit.

When you start receiving message you will receive it each 2 seconds until you change the drum.
NOTE: Sometimes LCD screen may show message when several color drum units need to be changed at the same time or you need to clean drum units with their corona wires.

How to Replace the Drum Unit in a Brother 9325CW Printer

When you want to change one drum unit in Brother MFC-9325CW printer you have to turn it . To replace a drum unit stand in front of the printer and open its top cover door.

At the left side on the toner and drum assembly you have each color. Take out the toner and drum assembly you have to replace. To free the waste drum from toner cartridge press the lock lever in the middle of assembly.

Take out new drum unit and remove the protection cover.

Install the toner cartridge back into new drum unit. You have installed it correctly once you hear lock in the middle click.

Clean drum unit using the corona wire several times and the take it back to its first position.

Take back drum and toner assembly into Brother MFC-9325CW printer at its first position and close the top cover door.

Turn printer and continue printing.

Press <+> or <-> navigating to . Press to proceed to , press navigate to press <+>. Using <+> or <-> navigate to drum you replaced and then press two times button.

Continue printing.
