RICOH C411DN BLACK TONER CARTRIDGE

The built-in system of your Ricoh Color C411DN Laser Printer is constantly monitoring the toner level of the installed cartridges. The system will display an appropriate warning message on the control LCD, when one or several of the installed toner cartridges are at the end of their useful life. Please replace the indicated toner cartridges, when any of the listed below messages appears on the control display.

‘’Add toner: K (Black)’’
‘’Empty: Black Toner’’
‘’Add toner: C (Cyan)’’
‘’Empty: Cyan Toner’’
‘’Add toner: M (Magenta)’’
‘’Empty: Magenta Toner’’
‘’Add toner: Y (Yellow)’’
‘’Empty: Yellow Toner’’

Please note that the replacement procedure is identical for each of the installed toner cartridges. Follow the instructions given below to install new toner cartridge/cartridges.

Important: Please note that the installed toner cartridges must be arranged in the following order (from the rear side of the machine): Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, and Black.

Initially, you must open the top cover by grasping its side handles and pulling upwards. Then, you must locate the exhausted toner cartridge by checking the labels. Once you have located the exhausted toner cartridge, you must turn its lock release lever forward to the marked ‘’unlocked’’ position, and then remove the exhausted component by pulling it carefully upwards. Please avoid shaking the exhausted toner cartridges. After that, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it 8-10 times vertically. Now, you must remove the protective tape, and then insert the new toner cartridge into the appropriate slot. In the next step, you must secure the new toner cartridge by pulling its lock lever towards you until it stops. Finally, you must close the top cover of your Ricoh Color C411DN Laser Printer, and then wait for the ‘’Loading toner’’ message to disappear.
