Product Description
Canon ImageRunner 1018 Toner Cartridge - 8,400 Pages

This Toner Cartridge prints 8400 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Canon specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Canon.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

Canon imageRunner 1018 Printer Review

Overview:

The Canon imageRunner 1018 is one of the best units on the market. It can produce 18 pages per minute. This unit offers the ability to print duplicates with high precision and a sharp resolution of 1200 dpi using black Canon 1018 toner. It comes with a duplexer that can print or copy double-sided media and reduce how much paper you use.

Pros:

The unit is affordable to operate and reliable. It uses a single toner cartridge. Also, the availability of replacement Canon 1018 toner cartridges at third party sites will allow users to shop around for the most affordable option.
The unit comes with a starter cartridge that yields 8,400 prints. The unit only needs five seconds to warm up and start printing. This is an excellent option when you are in a hurry and need to print on the spot.
This printer features an Energy Save mode which will lower operating cost. As a result of and the many features like the imageRUNNER 1018 toner system and laser technology, the 1018 is designed to provide affordable printing and copying for personal use.

Cons:

One of the biggest drawbacks to this unit is its lack of faxing capabilities. The unit also doesn’t offer color printing. Not to mention that there are many printers on the market today that offer faster printing speeds.
